North Shore - Major Depressive Disorder

We are conducting a clinical research study for adults living with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) who continue to experience symptoms despite being on antidepressant medication. The study is evaluating an investigational oral medication to see whether it may help delay relapse of depression symptoms when used together with a current antidepressant.

You may be eligible if you:

  • Are 18 years or older
  • Have been diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder by a healthcare professional.
  • Have continued symptoms despite taking an antidepressant for at least 8 weeks.
  • Have had inadequate response to 1-5 antidepressant treatments during your current episode.

Some conditions may prevent participation. Final eligibility will be determined at the screening visit.

What to Expect:

  • A confidential pre-screening call to review eligibility
  • If eligible, an in-person screening visit at our clinic
  • Continue your current antidepressant during the study
  • Study-related care and monitoring at no cost
  • Possible reimbursement for time and travel

Important information

  • Participation is voluntary - you may withdraw at any time
  • The study drug is investigational and not approved by any regulatory authority
  • All personal information will remain confidential and will not be shared without your permission except as required by law.
