Kamloops -  Eosinophilic Asthma 

Is asthma making it hard to catch your breath? If you have eosinophilic asthma and are currently receiving medical care for your asthma, you could be eligible to participate in this clinical trial. To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:

  • You are between the ages of 12 to 75
  • You have a confirmed diagnosis of eosinophilic asthma
  • You have been treated with inhaled steroids
  • You have been treated with a long-acting asthma medication for at least 1 year
  • You are not a current smoker, or have stopped smoking more than 6 months ago

The investigational study treatment will be administered by injection under the skin at our clinic in Kamloops. The total duration of the study is 57 weeks. Initially, you will receive injections every 4 weeks for the first 3 treatments, followed by injections every 8 weeks. Throughout this period, you will have regular check-ups with our physicians and study team. The study drug will be provided at no cost to you. The aim of the study is to determine if the investigational drug can benefit individuals with eosinophilic asthma.
