Receive study-related medical care for your gout

You may benefit from study-related care under the careful direction of an experienced clinical research team.

To qualify you must:

  • Have a diagnosis of gout
  • Have had at least 2 gout attacks in the past 12 months
  • Be willing to take treatment daily to prevent gout attacks

When you qualify for this study, you will receive:

  • Close monitoring of your gout to optimize your treatment at no cost to you
  • Compensation to cover your time and travel expenses
  • Reimbursement for your gout medication (allopurinol)

You should know that:

  • The study doctor will see you monthly over the next 6 months to optimize your treatment with the goal of reducing your gout attacks
  • Your medical information is kept strictly confidential, unless given your permission or except as required by law

To participate:

  • You don't need to be having a gout attack now!
  • You don't need to be currently taking any gout medication!

Are you one of the 5 million individuals living with lupus?

Description: If you are one of these individuals, we invite you to consider participating in the ILLUMINATE Research Study Program. The ILLUMINATE Program is evaluating a new investigational medication for systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), the most common form of lupus. We are one of many sites across the country taking part in this research. If you or someone you know:

  • is 18 years of age or older and
  • has been diagnosed with SLE
then participation in this clinical research program could be an option for you. To determine if you may qualify to take part, our doctors and nurses will perform additional tests and health assessments. Indviduals who qualify will receive study medication and all study-related care at no charge. Reimbursement for study-related travel and time will be provided. Some standard lupus medications will also be permitted during study participation. For Further information, please feel free to contact us. Contacting us does not mean that you have to participate in this clinical research program and participation is completely voluntary.

Do you suffer from High Cholesterol?

Description:   Are you looking to be a part of a research study to identify a possible treatment option for High Cholesterol?

You may qualify for the research study if:

• You are age 18 years or older

• You are taking high cholesterol medication Atorvastatin (LIPITOR)

or Rosuvastatin (CRESTOR) or Simvastatin (ZOCOR)

• Have stable health conditions

If you qualify, you will receive all study related care and investigational medications at no cost and will be compensated for your travel costs.

If your blood pressure and sugar levels are not adequately controlled with medication

Description: You may be eligible for a clinical research study if you are taking oral medications for:

  • Type 2 Diabetes, and
  • High Blood Pressure
Volunteers between the ages of 18 and 89 may receive study related:
  • Clinic/Offfice visits
  • Study medication or placebo
  • Laboratory work and evaluations
  • Glucose monitoring supplies
  • Diabetic and nutritional counseling

Rheumatoid Arthritis

Description: Have been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and are currently taking medication, also looking for new options for pain management.

Flu

Description: Have recently felt feverish and also have some of the following flu symptoms: cough, sore throat, nasal congestion, muscle aches, headache, or fatigue.

Diabetes

Description: Have been diagnosed with Diabetes and are currently taking medication.

Cancer Pain

Description: Still have moderate to severe cancer related pain with your current medications.

Atrial Fibrillation

Description: Currently taking medication and are searching for new treatment options.

Alzheimer’s Disease

Description: Suffer from memory loss and looking for a new treatment option for Alzheimer’s Disease.
